Sankalp Ek Prayas is a grassroots initiative dedicated to nurturing the dreams of rural children through quality education and holistic development. Active since 2008 and formally registered in 2011, the organization operates across five districts of Chhattisgarh — Durg, Rajnandgaon, Dhamtari, Balod, and Bemetara. It not only supports children’s learning through outcome-based education but also empowers local women to lead change in their communities. With programs like Seekh, Srijan, Garima and Fellowship Sankalp is shaping confident, capable, and future-ready children and Youth from the most marginalized backgrounds.

Project Kartavya
Project Kartavya by Sankalp Ek Prayas was initiated by the organization’s visionary, Mr. Ramesh Kacholia (Ramesh Uncle), to support needy and underprivileged children in rural and interior villages of Chhattisgarh through the creation of “Adarsh Bal Gram” — ideal children’s villages.
Over the past two years, the project has directly impacted 57k + children across 300+ villages in 5 districts. The objective of Project Kartavya is to institutionalize the idea of Adarsh Bal Gram through three core programs:
- "Seekh" – designed for primary-level children
- "Srijan" – focused on students from grades 6 to 10
- "Garima" – aimed at empowering girls and women in rural communities.

Adarsh Bal Gram envisions a safe, inclusive community where children thrive with access to quality healthcare, education, and support. Surrounded by positive role models, they are empowered to grow, learn, and contribute, fostering well-being, equity, and a brighter future. Adarsh Bal Gram offers children opportunities to grow into confident, compassionate individuals ready to impact their communities. It stands as a beacon of hope, inspiring a brighter future for generations ahead.
Seekh
Creating child-friendly villages with education, care, and community support to ensure a safe, and empowering childhood, fostering lifelong learning and development.
Srijan
Providing quality education, digital learning, and teaching support to empower rural children with better opportunities, strong foundational skills, and brighter futures.
Garima
Ensuring children's well-being through healthcare, nutrition, and extracurricular activities to promote overall growth, self-confidence, and emotional resilience.
